DAVID KARNS' LIMITED EDITION, "I RAN OVER YOUR STRAP WITH MY MOTORCYCLE" GUITAR STRAP

David created his "I Ran Over Your Strap With My Motorcycle" guitar strap from a soft, supple piece of top quality, orange leather.  The leather has an almost powdery orange finish, topped with paint tire tracks.  (OK, so he didn't really run over it with his motorcycle, we made that part up...).  Actually, he snagged Jeri's spare tire out of her trunk, rolled it in paint and ran over each strap individually*.  Then he added chrome eyelets and a chrome buckle.

Each strap is one of a kind, created by David. 

We finished his work by backing the strap in a thick orange suede and stitching them up.  This top quality, leather guitar strap is 2 3/4 inches wide, and is available in our two standard lengths.  Use the drop-down bar to select your size.

(*If Jeri gets a flat tire in the next couple of weeks, she's going to be a little upset that her spare tire is covered in paint at the studio-we didn't make that part up...)

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

David Karns has been a mid west mainstay since returning from his days of intensive study with Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs), Lynne Davis (LA Music academy)  and subsequent resulting touring with the Michael Sweet Band (Stryper.)  His world-class technical proficiency on the bass guitar earned him additional international tours with the likes of, Ken Hensley of Uriah Heap and David Surkamp of 70’s icon, Pavlov’s Dog.  While dividing his time between St. Louis and Nashville for the past few years, David has found time to record and perform with four time Riverfront Times Slammy Award Winner and Mississippi Nights staple, Javier Mendoza.  It was also during this period that Nashville recording artist and Missouri native, Candy Coburn, hand-picked David for his unmatched musicianship and superb vocals to be a part of her run up the Texas radio charts. David  logged in over 600 shows with New Soul Cowboys over the last 3 years and takes off next month with South Africa's mega super star Ashton Nyte. David frequently enjoys spending his off days on the Missouri and Tennessee back roads in the saddle of his favorite Harley Davidson.
