Our "Stained Glass" guitar strap starts out with a "naked" piece of leather which is hand-cut to 2.5" wide. We dye the leather and hand paint it contrasting colors, then bevel the edges to "frame" the painted color all the way around the strap. We then add 3 layers of different colored snakeskin and outline the snakeskin by hand punching and adding our own oxidized nailheads. The entire strap is then hand punched and embellished with oxidized nailheads and genuine gemstones. We back the strap with high quality suede and stitch the front to the back. We then add more oxidized embellisments in the form of eyelets up the entire length of the strap, front and back. This all leather guitar strap can be personalized with an initial or two as well as with your choice of colors and gemstones. For this strap, we will contact you upon placement of your order to discuss color options. Your custom ordered guitar strap will be created to the length you specify with the ability to shorten or lengthen it an additional 3 inches each way, giving you a total of 7 inches of adjustability. To get your measurement, lay your current strap flat and measure from the center of one peghole to the center of the other peghole. If you don't know it now, we will contact you for the measurement before we start your strap. Also, please let us know if you use strap locks (if you don't know what they are, you don't use them!).
